Part-Time Accounts Receivable Coordinator

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is tasked with the effective processing and management of all accounts receivable in a timely, accurate, and efficient way. This position is also responsible for leading, training, and caring for a team of volunteers that serve weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Process church offerings with volunteer team (counting and data entry of weekly offerings)
  • Research first-time givers and send out giving letters
  • Process online giving through online giving portals
  • Set up online giving and mobile giving for special offerings
  • Process/match mission trip, event, and registration payments in church database
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports as requested
  • Reconcile monthly church database contributions to financial software
  • Run and print end of year giving statements; organize & assist volunteers to send out statements to the contributors of GT
  • Respond to any congregant contributions requests, concerns, or questions

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills are required, including the ability to navigate financial software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; strives for excellence
  • Exceptional personal integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to lead, develop, and care for a small volunteer team
  • Displays a positive attitude that supports the vision and values of GT church
  • Availability for Monday through Thursday day-time hours (approx. 20hrs/week)
  • Prior accounts receivable experience is a plus
  • Valid PA driver’s license
